Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 10 amβ8 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Torrance is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Torrance is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The Ruben is absolutely MONSTROUS. I'm not a beef person but was searching specifically for a true Ruben sandwich in the area. That being said, the sandwich was outstanding but I'd probably order either less meat next time or more cheese since its just overpowering otherwise. If you want a real Ruben you won't be disappointed!

The staff was super friendly, and the food was amazing. Their pastrami sandwich is a must-try! Even though the restaurant is older, everything was very clean and well-kept. The restroom was also spotless and had no unpleasant odors at all. Love the power of internet find me this hidden gem in Torrance.

Marvelous deli food and sandwiches. Big is an understatement of how much meat they pack into a sandwhich. My face cant stretch that far. The Rueben was prime time and the Brisket was food (a little dry) but overall these were on point. Mac salad yumm! Love the vibe and the whole mafia, dont stare at the wrong person vibe going on. Kind of felt like NYC. Awesome place!

I was looking on google for a place that sells soup and I found. I ordered the matzo soup and it was so good. I enjoyed the brisket sandwich. It was amazing. The staff very friendly. Definitely want to come back and eat at the sitting area and try some more food :)
